Reiki is a CAM Therapy – Complementary Alternative Medicine. It is a preferred choice in alternative therapy when the client is experiencing Cancer, Aids, Diabetes, MS, etc. This is because Reiki is a gentle therapy, does not require disrobing and the Practitioner does not have to touch the body. It is usually administered in a serene, quiet room with gentle healing music and candles in the background along with a gentle aromatherapy scent – all to enhance the relaxation state of the client and encourage healing from within. The Healing Room is set-up this way.
